Simon Tarrant is a self taught artist and independent curator. He has gained prominence as a curator of critically acclaimed pop-up exhibitions in unique and unusual spaces, and has become known for giving new and established artists public platforms to exhibit their work. With a background in marketing and advertising Simon promotes a variety of charitable causes that support young people and the arts, as well as the LGBT+ community.

In March 2026, Simon Tarrant presents Magical Realms: Nature, Myth & Imagination at Mall Galleries, London — a major exhibition exploring the interplay between nature, myth and imagination through luminous oils on glass and canvas.
A London-born artist, curator and arts promoter, Tarrant is known for his luscious landscapes and Richter-like abstractions. Alongside his studio practice, he has curated and promoted exhibitions and cultural events in London, Dublin, Belfast and New York, with media coverage in BBC, the Guardian, Financial Times, Time Magazine and Artlyst.
